ABOUT ME

I've lived in Abu Dhabi for 12 years with my partner. I am American (from Phoenix) and they are French (Paris). I work for an airline here in management and will probably live here for a while longer. We travel often pretty much anywhere and everywhere and have met people from all over the world. I am very outgoing and always interested in meeting or helping people who I can possibly learn things from. We thought this would be a good way to learn about new places or even just meet new people from places we've been.

We try to spend most of our time travelling. Living in the Middle East really opens up alot of travel opportunity as its quite central for Europe and Asia. Other than that we enjoy exploring the UAE, some photography.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Two different places I've been that have really impresed me are Cape Town (SA), Salalah (Oman). First Cape Town is probably one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been. The people are truely nice and always helpful. There is just a feeling I get when there that cant be matched. Salalah is just interesting. It is a small city in Oman near the Yemen boarder. Its bascially situated between a large mountain range and the Indian Ocean. Outside the mountain range in the middle of summer it is about 45-50 degrees celcius and is dry and arid, but once you cross the mountain pass it turns into a lush green valley. Its just the biggest change in landscape i've ever seen and I would suggest everyone see it if possible. Its not the most exciting city, so you dont need to spend much time there, but its really fantastic to see.
