I recently finished my final exams of my degree in biomedical sciences and am now looking to travel in the US during the summer. I am 22 years old and was born to Irish parents in Berne, Switzerland. Living in Switzerland meant that as a kid I spent many trips hiking in the mountains, swimming in our lakes and rivers and skiing/snowboarding in winter. This love for the outdoors has stuck with me and I try to get out and about as often as possible. I'm very open and friendly, I love making new friends and learning more about everyone I meet. I'm very easy to talk to, outgoing and enjoy spending time with friends.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to experience the places I go to from within and meet the people who live there. I hope to make friends in the places I visit and learn more about them. I feel like couchsurfing is the perfect way to make all that happen - traveling and making friends all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Hiking up a 1500m mountain in the south of Switzerland in deep, fresh snow with a snowboard on my back and riding down the other side in the greatest powder imaginable. Traveled by bike from Geneva to the Mediterranean sea with one of my best friends.
