Im Maui local based on the south side. Most days I’m either in the ocean teaching scuba or out in the hills setting up rappels and chasing sunsets. I’m pretty active and always planning the next little mission, but at home I’m laid-back, clean, and easy to live with.

I enjoy having people from around the world pass through my place – good conversation over coffee in the morning or a beer after the beach is my favorite part of hosting. I’m social and friendly, but I also respect personal space and I’m totally fine if you’re more independent and just need a safe, comfortable base while you explore the island.

If you’re respectful, tidy, and down for a relaxed vibe, we’ll get along great. I’m happy to share local tips, sometimes bring guests along on snorkel or waterfall adventures when it fits my schedule, and give you a little glimpse of what everyday life on Maui feels like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As an extroverted person, I enjoy meeting new people and sharing experiences. Being a Couchsurfing host allows me to connect with travelers from around the world and show them what my community has to offer. Seeing someone's face light up with excitement as they discover new things is incredibly rewarding for me, and providing a comfortable and welcoming space for someone's travels is a bonus.

Interests

As a person, I have a diverse range of interests, including rappelling, rock climbing, surfing, golfing, paragliding, bungee jumping, and skydiving. I love to challenge myself and push my limits, whether it's scaling steep rock faces or jumping out of a plane. These activities allow me to connect with nature, and I enjoy the rush of adrenaline they provide. Additionally, I enjoy sharing my passion for these activities with others and am always happy to introduce someone new to these exciting experiences.

Playing the ukulele in Hawaii with my friends is not only enjoyable, but it's also a great way to bond with others. There's something about being in such a beautiful and laid-back environment that allows us to connect and have fun together. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rappelling is definitely one of the coolest things I've ever done! The feeling of being suspended in mid-air as you descend down a steep rock face or waterfall is truly exhilarating. Not only is it a thrilling adventure, but it also requires a lot of skill and focus to execute safely. I love the challenge of learning new rappelling techniques and pushing myself to climb higher. Whether it's in the canyons of Utah or the waterfalls of Maui, rappelling has taken me to some of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring places on Earth.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a certified scuba diving and rappelling instructor and guide, I enjoy sharing my passion for adventure with others. Being able to teach people how to safely explore the great outdoors and rappel down steep rock faces or waterfalls is incredibly rewarding for me as a teacher.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a Couchsurfing host, I am offering to share my house with guests. This includes a comfortable and welcoming space for them to stay during their travels. Guests will have access to amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and living areas. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to enjoy the ocean view from my house and relax in the peaceful surroundings. As a host, I am committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for my guests, and I look forward to welcoming them into my home.
