About Me

My name is Bruno and my hometown is Quito - Ecuador. I have two nationalities Ecuadorean 🇪🇨 and Italian 🇮🇹.

I love to travel, meet new people and experience new adventures. I believe that my passion for travelling has come from the multiple times I have travelled with my family around the world and the amazing people I have met 🌎.

I consider myself as a curious global citizen.

Perhaps my biggest passion are sports, I am extremely passionate about soccer, swimming, squash, tennis, cycling and in general any sport ⚽️.

I believe in constant improvement and that is why every day I try to be a better person that the previous day. I feel we must always learn something every day 🤓.

My goal in Couchsurfing is to meet and have experiences with at least 1 person of each one of the 195 existing nationalities. That way I can truly develop a global understanding of the world and have friends from all around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel, enjoy new experiences and meet new people. I believe that travelling opens your mind, and helps you understand the world in a different perspective. Every culture has fascinating aspects, and I like to understand how different cultures shape different views and realities.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have no favorite musical genre, I like a little bit of everything. However, my favorite band is the Rolling Stones.

Refering to books, I like to read biographies of influential and successful people (businessmen, soccer players, coaches, music, etc) such as Steve Jobs, Jack Ma, Pep Guardiola, José Mourinho, Andrea Pirlo, etc.

I also like to read must read books from famous authors as well as personal development books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best experience I had was when I travelled to the Soccer Worldcup in Brazil 2014 and Russia 2018. I did three of the things I like to do the most in one trip: travel, watch soccer and spend time with my family and friends.

Every travel experience always brings valuable knowledge, friends and moments. Life is always better and more interesting when I travel!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to listen and understand others.

My motto is that I am always trying to give my best, learn from others and become better every day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share great conversations and fun moments from my experiences, background, origins, etc.

I can also share many of my travel experiences, tell stories about my country, talk about sports, shows and news.

In general, I am really relatable.
