I am organizing with a local hostel to sponsor a couple rooms for Ukranians already abroad who cannot return home. My hope is to provide a place where you can have your own community and support each other here in Tepoztlán.

* Dear Couchsurfing family...... and those friends we are yet to meet!!

I am still getting couch requests even in the midst of this Covid19 as
most countries having gone into isolation/quarantine/lockdowns.

It's a heck of a time to be traveling, but so be it, if you are in a foreign country
and for whatever reason you cannot go home, the time has come to avide by
the local protocols. YOU MUST ALSO #StayHome, stay in one place and begin
your own isolation.quarantine. *THis is as much as for your ownn safety but also
for HOSTS who may have begun comeplete lockdowns.

So please please MAKE GOOD CHOiCES now..... FiND a place to stay for the
next 2-4 weeks.... find a cute little beach bungalow, a hostel with individual
rooms so you can be with other travelers and not feel so alone, or simply
rent an AirBnB or other accomodations..... as much as HOSTS would like to help you, we truly do not want to put each other at risk! Especially if travelers keep moving so much and going from hot spot to hot spot of this epidemic.

*** Write me of you would like me to help you find a local place of your own in
my little town of San Miguel de Allende where you can ride this out!! I want you
to feel safe and stay healthy as we ride this incredible global situation.

(((Notes from my San Francisco time: Be a catcher in the rye... has always been my mission since I read the book and realized that EVERYONE EVERYONE has something to contribute to society and for the well being of others. I am here to help... I am ever YOUR VOLUNTEER... I wake up each morning and meditate to see where in my community I will bring change today!!! And I seek to encourage this volunteer spirit to everyone I meet!!

*And yes, whenever I am in San Francisco I do go to the Golden Gate Bridge and talk to people that may seem too sad and lonely and might be contemplating suicide. It's just something I do.... I just care!!!)))

I AM SUPER ADVENTUROUS... lived abroad for 21 years! Lived in caves, tree houses, ashrams, monasteries, scuba boats!! I follow my heart and listen to reason!!! Above all, I am a songwriter 'cuz I am a romantic fool I'M SOOOO IN LOVE With LiFE for all its wanders, colors, tastes!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met the founder of Couchsurfing at Burning Man's headquarters in San Francisco.... what an amazing thing he has created bringing people together to simply share our humanity!

My very first Couchsurfing experience I visited New Orleans to volunteer to re/build houses and stayed with an AWESOME HOST and helped to build his house too!!

In San Francisco I was in a position to host on my lovely boat!!

Now I can welcome you in this artist community.... LiFE is for sharing and opening our doors into our very lifestyle!!

I lead dynamic meditations WHEREVER I live.... I am often invited to lead meditaciones at *TRANSFORMATiVE FESTiVALS for where I will be leading OSHO style meditations..... I love open mikes & chanting circles!

I play Tenor & Alto Sax, flute and a couple Korean instruments: the kayagum, a kind of sythar, and a drum called sa-mul-no-ri.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have danced with whale sharks in Asia! I lived aboard diving safari boats. And helped out with underwater recoveries after the Tsunami in Thailand. Ahhh my love of the sea continues!!!

* I ran the UltraMarathon at Burning Man! Gotta push all the limits of existence!!!

** I recently moved to Paris to pick up my old dream of playing Jazz and writing romantic songs by La Seine!!
