We love life and are very passionate about what we do. Our daughter Shelby is amazing and we feel strongly to have her experience new cultures, people and locations throughout the world!!!

Wendy and I own a full time wedding photography business where we are so lucky and grateful to travel the world photographing weddings and meeting amazing people!

We are athletes who are passionate about playing! Road/mtn cycling, nordic/alpine skiing, rock climbing, running, surfing, sailing...love/need to be active.

We love and are drawn to amazing cuisine, music, culture, friends, animals....and adventures!!!

We'd love to live in Europe! This is something we'd like to have happen in the next two years!

PHILOSOPHY: Learn from YOUR past but only let it rule your future if it helps you out. If it's a negative experience remember that the past doesn't equal the future!!! Love what people have to offer and be willing to give and help others. We all know deep down in our hearts what our true calling is in life....this is the most important place for us to get to!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING: To profess to everyone our passion for creating and living an amazing life by helping others and believing in one's abilities! My meeting amazing people throughout the world and now that we have a beautiful daughter to give her experiences that will shape her into a strong independent woman!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Krakow, Poland, China the list is wonderfully long and memorable; we've hosted a variety of world travelers as well. Every experience has been magical for the people we've met!!

I've had amazing couch surfing experiences throughout my life. From sleeping on the floor and waking up with a cat lying on you to sweating it out in Chicago on the third story of a house when it was 90+F.

Music, Movies, and Books

James Bond, Indiana Jones, any treasure hunting movies (Fools Gold), Oceans series, Bourne series, romantic comedies. I love watching movies!!

I love any and all types of music...even a little country (just a little!) My mother was a professional opera singer so I have a soft spot for classical.

Angels & Demons by Dan Brown comes to mind as one of my favorite books. Great movie to!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sooo many! But, I once biked 140 miles in a day with a group of friends and we raced each other up this huge climb that took 40 minutes to reach the top. I think our time overall was 7.5hrs which wasn't too bad!

Ok, definitely having our beautiful daughter Shelby!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very good around the house and can fix lots of things!! Very mechanically inclined!

I know a lot about training for endurance sports. Alpine skiing/snowboarding, surfing, rock climbing, xc skiing (classic, skate tech), mtn biking/road biking, sailing.

I also know a lot about computers: from photo manipulation software to photography of course! Wendy is the social media/seo/digital marketing queen!

Wendy is an amazing cook and we are foodies for sure!!
