CURRENT MISSION

I am currently driving around the U.S. in a great big van, on a year long road trip, looking for cool places to see, people to meet, and stories to tell. I'm a freelance journalist, and I'm writing about the trip on Gizmodo, Wired, Outside Magazine, and a few others. You can read all about it at www.ConnectedStates.com

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't really need couches because my van is basically a fully set-up home on wheels, but I need people to show me around, take me to the cool secret spots. A nice, level driveway I could park in wouldn't hurt either.

I'd love to meet up, explore your town, eat the eats, drink the drinks, and swap stories. Sound good?

Música, películas y libros

Far too many to list. I love movies (especially comedy, but really everything). I like all types of music (especially oldies, and hip-hop). And I just reread Siddhartha, by Herman Hesse and I loved it almost as much as I did 10 years ago.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I got to fly on NASA's zero-gravity plane (aka the Vomit Comet) for a story I was doing. It was one of the best experiences of my entire life.
