About Me
CURRENTLY BIKING FROM STOCKHOLM TO ATHENS 🤤
hello folks, I like playing musical instruments, socializing, cycling and most recently photography. I can happily roam the streets, chat around and take photos for a considerably long time until I am exhausted. I had been working.as a software engineer until I got fired in early 2024, which has been great, I am traveling with my savings at the moment. I love being positively uncanny and meeting new people and trying out things (except for ice skating, I don't wanna break any of my bones). I am excited about a world with fewer billionaires and more equality and freedom. exactly how that'll come to be is something I haven't figured out yet. but maybe once I've done so I'll go about preaching.
I'm sad that it seems as though I surfed more than I hosted, but I must add I hosted 40+ people pre-pandemic was boasting a host-to-surf ratio of about 6 but unfortunately I got super mad at the paywall and deleted my account only to rejoin a year later 😁
I'm not interested in nudism & naturalism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people, borrowing their eyes through which to see the world. I don't really like hospitality business has grown so much and profit is the driving factor in people. I'd like to host and surf whenever I can, help out, be helped, share, know. anybody is welcome I don't believe in bisecting things with borders, race, nationalities, gender.

Music, Movies, and Books
bob dylan, ruhi su, orhan pamuk, tolstoy, david lynch on top of my head. I've enjoyed long running TV dramas like the Sopranos. I go back to a random episode of Fleabag and Nathan for You for a quick recharge sometimes I heard father Bush POTUS did the same with Fawlty Towers. I can't also say no to a good short story and have a soft spot for a Sherlock Holmes murder mystery. was so energized by the Get Back documentary when I watched it. during a movie club we've held for some months the directors I loved engrossing myself in whose body of work were Agnes Varda, Pedro Almodovar, Ingmar Bergman, Krzysztof Kieslowski. but if I'm rewatching something it's Tarantino. I also got into photography of late and my taste buds agree with Eugene Smith (big time), Daido Moriyama, Vivian Maier, Sebastiao Salgado, Jens Assur, Anders Petersen such inspirations to go out there and work and get a head full of ideas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
a few too many but:
starting taking photos. putting up some stuff on the gram @hatboyphotos.
got an oud on a whim.
I survived my Dalarna tour on the bike and did a Vätternrundan along the way.
cycled through many a night sky in the countryside, slept under them too.
left my teeny tiny hometown for good, and then my country.
Teach, Learn, Share
