Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to just about everything. I really like seeing good bands live. My favorite concert was last summer when I saw Lake Street Dive at an outdoor venue in Asheville, North Carolina.

My favorite recent film is Whiplash, starring JK Simmons, which is about a Conservatory student drummer that pushes it to the limit. Intensely inspiring.

My favorite books include Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, and just about anything by Hemingway.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After I graduated from university I boarded a flight to Asia and volunteered in shelters for mentally challeneged, and dying and destitute in Kolkata India before hiking up to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal.
