ABOUT ME

I'm 23 years old and a programming student in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I'm a Shambhala Buddhist, my parents followed Chogyam Trungpa and I was raised in the Buddhist community in Nova Scotia. I've always had a natural affinity for computers and technology and love to work with them. I hope to be able to work with them in the programming and communication sector's for the benefit of the world. I'm especially interested in getting involved in the nonprofit sector after I finish my education. I love adventure, exploration, and learning more about myself and others. I was born in Halifax but when I was a child my parents moved to a farm so I grew up there. They are both avid environmentalists so I have a bit of background in that area.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to leave every situation in better shape then when you arrived, be it a campsite, country, world, or your own mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many wonderful old-growth forests. Dropping a difficult concrete bowl on my skateboard. Dancing outside to incredible DJ's as the sun came up and the first ray's hit us. Lightning cracking down all around me as the full fury of nature was unleashed.
