To travel as much as possible and learn from the places I go and the people I meet. I want to learn about the world around me and expand my world view. I don't want to live in a box and live in ignorance.

ABOUT ME

Hi Everyone! My name is Candy and I live in San Francisco, CA, but I am currently on exchange in Amsterdam, NL. I am Mexican-American, so I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I am a curious, warm hearted, adventure seeking person that loves to eat good food and enjoy good company! I am a huge beach person, come on I live in California, AKA beach central! I love to walk along the shore and watch the sunset. One of biggest passions is dancing. I dance several different dance styles, including: salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia, hip-hop, jazz, modern, and contemporary. I consider myself a free spirited person that enjoys the simple things in life. My main goal in life is to be happy. Happiness will bring me success and so much more.

One amazing thing that I have done in my lifetime is skydiving. It was such an amazing and liberating experience. I will never forget those few seconds I felt like I was "flying".

I can teach my Latina dance moves and how to cook some delicious, authentic Mexican food! I want to learn what being a local of the countries I visit is like (not just what stereotypes and the media tells us). I want to truly understand a culture and the wonderful and not so wonderful aspects of it. I want to be able to share my knowledge, experience, and hundreds of pictures I take, with the people I meet; taking the information I learn and teaching it to someone else.
