I'm a fun loving outdoorsy person. I'm all about the environmental and social justice. I love to travel. I sometimes feel guilty about the carbon planes create so I try to train, bus, bike and walk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first started informally in 2008 when I stayed with a girl who I met on the train (toronto-vancouver) who was couchsurfing. I decided to join and see if I could surf as well as offer a bed at a in the middle of nowhere home in the Ontario (Canada) Kawartha Lakes area and/or in my apartment in Kitchener while I was in school. except no one ever wanted to come to Kitchener:(
But in Australia I used CS to find great people to surf, travel or just meet.
Just restored my account and am ready to surf and host (in Ottawa) again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A fair bit of surfing in Austrailia. Originally got in to it tagging along with my train buddy and a bit on my own through California. I do more of the social events then the surfing these days, but always interested in doing again.

Interests

Exploring, nature, culture, traveling, hiking, swimming, SCUBA, pretty much all things outdoors, cooking, acting, music (all kind- the more emotion the better) and musical theater.

Im pretty good cook especially with eggplants! I have stories galore, and am pretty handy with a plunder, fence building and a plethora of helpful tasks. I’m also a data-base of facts and random knowledge.
