ABOUT ME

I have always hankered to go to Asia and now I am doing it. I have worked in the tarsands,taught for umpteen years studied Occupational Health and Safety and now looking at having my own little business. I want to travel in Asia and return to Canada for warm months.
Talk about wanting it all!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just host and now am looking to hook ups for learning.

I had one surfer that stayed for two years. Yas was from Morocco and decided that this was a place that he wanted to live and work. He got along with my boys so well he became like a son. It was wonderful how he integrated into our little family and made a life for himself in McMurray. Couchsurfing has been a great blessing for all of us here. Thank You Couch Surfing for such pleasant times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the 1980's my husband and I drove from Calgary to Panama City in nine days. This was not just the driving ... it included getting visas and all of the other paper work as we went ... the trip was impromptu. It was wonderful ... it took us three months to work our way back home to Calgary.

I have a couch in a one bedroom apartment. It is simple but a safe place to put your head down for a night or two.
