About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore every corner of this beautiful world!

ABOUT ME

Open-minded, outgoing, vegetarian, non-smoker, in a relationship (although I love the concept of the relationship anarchy), very communicative, honest, polite, curious, always interested in new things to explore.

PHILOSOPHY

Our memories are the only paradise we cannot get banished from.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For me, Couch Surfing has become the only real way of travelling (especially if you travel by yourself and really want to dig into another culture and meet extraordinary people)
I used Couch Surfing first, when I travelled through Europe on Interrail and it was an amazing experience, like a whole new world opening up to me! I will use it as much as I can and I am happy once I will finally be able to host again as well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Experiencing the openness, hospitality and trust with which a lot of hosts here meet foreign Couchsurfers, really touched my heart. Thank you so much for that!

Interests

Culture, language, Fussball! (table soccer), not real soccer though..., reading, taking pictures, good food, long conversations, hardrock music, and of course, most of all: travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books

Fight Club, Goodbye Lenin, Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei, Almost Famous, American History X, Rafiki, American Beauty, Interview with a vampire, Dracula, Lord of the rings, Leon - The Professional, Qué he hecho yo para merecer esto?, Maria full of grace, Mar adentro, Motorcycle diaries, etc...

Classical music (Brahms) as well as Metal/Metalcore like The Browning, Killswitch Engage, Winds of Plague, Dark Electro like Combichrist and Suicide Commando and I love classical movie soundtracks like Lord of the Rings, 300, Dracula etc. And there seems to be a development towards a bit quiter, slower kind of music recently ;-).

Süskind - Das Parfüm, Zadie Smith - White teeth, Orwell - 1984, Garcia Marquez - Cien anyos de soledad, Wilde - Picture of Dorian Gray, Daniel Kehlmann - Measuring the world, Sten Nadolny - The Discovery of Slowness

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To observe the sun rise in the pampas of Northern Bolivia, surrounded by 100 per cent pure nature and the wilderness of the Amazonas jungle, including colours so unbelievable, that they seemed to be added by Photoshop, with the rest of the group (except the guide) already back in the canoe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always open to new vegetarian international recipes! :-) I love to hear from your country and your culture - especially the little, daily cultural differences fascinate me!

I love to share some of my travel stories, vegetarian recipes, life experiences, language knowledges and of course, I can give you some advice on what to see in my area.
