Hi everyone! My name is Carlos and I'm 27 yo Mexican living in Dublin with my partner. I am a visual artist and, like everyone else in this app, I also love travelling and meeting new people on the way.

I appreciate architecture, design and gastronomy, and in my free time I like to read about linguistics or visit exhibitions.

I lived for almost one year in Germany in 2019 and I had the opportunity to try CouchSurfing there for the first time. It was an amazing experience where I got to know really interesting people and some of them remained close to me. I plan to travel more and I would like to get back on track knowing places from the local perspective. I am fascinated by people and their passions and knowing the local life is my favourite way to experience places.

I am really passionate about music. I like to discover new artists and I am constantly changing my playlist. Rosalia, Caroline Polachek, TootArd, and Japanese Breakfast are some of my top.

I don’t really watch films, but I am getting into that. My favourite movies are The Arrival and Donnie Darko, if that gives a hint about my taste.

I've been reading lately lots about sociolinguistics and language diversity. Basically I read almost everything that has to do with language . Suggestions are welcome. :-)
