CURRENT MISSION Wandering around this wonderful and vibrant concrete jungle. ABOUT ME I studied English Philology and Modern Languages in Salamanca, Spain. I am currently working as English teacher while I study an MA on Literary Theory and write for small magazines and newspapers. I write short stories, poetry, articles... I love reading and watching films (and writing about them!) As a result, I tend to be curious and passionate about culture. I'm quite hilarious, or at least that is what my friends think! I tend to be really optimistic and happy, and of course I am friendly and open minded. I love talking as much as listening, there is nothing better than a good conversation. PHILOSOPHY Quoting one of my favourite writers, Lord Byron, my philosophy would be "eat, drink and love, the rests not worth a fillip." I would also add "discover" for that is the point of travelling ando "empathize", as we have to construct a world in solidarity is more than a mere word.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Incredible. I've met so many amazing human beings I have not really words to describe this experience. I have hosted a couple of times and be hosted many more, and each of the times I met someone thanks to this site I just felt happiness.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Led Zeppelin, Kyuss, Jimi Hendrix, Arctic Moneys, The Doors... Films: Cinema Paradiso, Die Fetten Jahre sind vorbei, La Chinoise, Novecento, Les 400 coups, The Dreamers... Books: The Catcher in the Rye, Matigari, On the Road, Dharma Bums, HOWL, The House of Hunger, The Unbereable Lightness of Being...
One Amazing Thing I've Done
- Meeting the daughter of my favourite poet, Rafael Alberti. - Surviving while traveling solo (that was actually hard)
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach Spanish because I love my culture, and so the Latin American. Both are my passions. I always strive to give the people I meet everything I know or I am passionate about, as well as listening and learning myself.
What I Can Share With Hosts
A wide range of anecdotes, impressions about culture –of course beer– and my passion for seeking the utopia.
My Interests
"The road is life" – Jack Kerouac. Literature and films, overall. I really appreciate literature and its manifestations in the culture of each country. I'm also interested in languages, and so travelling for me amazing, yet I will visit really different countries. I like to talk about politics, always being respectful and tolerant. Oh, and food is also really important to me (and beer, naturally)
