I normally work as a French teacher in French schools abroad. I left Syria last June after four years working there and I am currently on a year break. Before that, I worked in Egypt, Palestine, Russia and Morocco.
I love traveling, especially in the Middle East, but I promise you: I'm doing everything I can not to be an annoying orientalist!
I like creative activities: I play the guitar and the ukulele, and I can sew and create some clothes or jewelry.

I am very sociable but also pretty quiet. I like to spend time with people, share quality moments, go for walks or a tea, but I also need moments on my own, reading (a lot!) or bingewatching tv shows and movies from time to time, let's be honest!

I subscribed to Workaway because I like slow traveling and enjoying spending time with people rather than run from one monument to another. I've learned a lot from my travels and meetings across the globe, and I hope I also gave something meaningful in exchange!

I read a lot and enjoy a lot of genres: classic literature, whether it's French, Arabic or Russian, political and historical essays, but also crime books (especially Scandinavian).

About movies I can watch pretty much everything except horror movie but I have a crush on old movies (Orson Welles, Fritz Lang, old Polanski's movies) but I also like to binge watch rom-com and some very bad tv reality shows.
