I love adventure and most of my adult life has involved travel. I crossed the Atlantic on a boat when I was 19 and haven't stopped exploring since. I've been living in China for 3 years and I love it. It's such an amazing country to travel, the people are great and Sichuan food is the best.

If travelling in China:
-Avoid taking a trip to China from mid July to September and during the Chinese national holiday. All the best places to visit are packed during these times
-Always carry tissue paper with you
-don't be afraid of street food, it's the best
-Avoid using the subway in big cities unless you enjoy being pressed up against strangers from every side
