Finishing my Criminology MA and getting a PhD

ABOUT ME

I'm an Italian Londoner who's just moved to Sydney to study criminology. I've studied journalism, worked in PR and written four novels. I love American Psycho, Alice Cooper and cupcakes.

PHILOSOPHY

I apologise, I know they're long, but I like quotes. Here are some of my favourites.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I'm currently living with another person, I can't host as I wish I could. I wish I could contribute more as a way to thank all the wonderful people that helped me have an amazing experience in the US sharing their stories and time with me, but unfortunately at the moment I can only hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing helped make my dream of visiting the USA and living there like a local come true. I have just come back from a two-month trip that took me to New York, Washington, Tampa, Nashville, New Orleans, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Diego, LA, Long Beach and San Francisco and I'm on a Couchsurfing high.

It was my first experience ever and it was inspiring, challenging and heart-warming. I was blown away by all my hosts' kindness, intelligence and will to pamper me.

I've written three novels, launched an unsuccessful website on Kickstarter, seen the Rolling Stones, couchsurfed in America alone without getting killed.

I smile a lot and I'm generally really happy. I can offer weird stories from three years of journalism (ask about burnt toasts) , from two months of Couchsurfing in America, PR and from life in Italy.
