About Me
Hi, I'm Caroline, 28 years old. At 18, I made the decision to leave my family home and live independently to pursue my studies. That was the first time I realized how much I love traveling, freedom, and the thrill of exploring new places. I studied Egyptology, which required me to visit historical sites all over Egypt—I ended up traveling to 13 cities during that time.
At 24, I took my first trip abroad to Albania. Since then, I’ve also visited France, Italy, and the Vatican—each journey has been unforgettable, and I’m always looking forward to the next one.
I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and building meaningful connections. I have a deep sense of openness and acceptance, which has helped me form friendships with people from various cultures, backgrounds, and personalities.
I love spending hours in deep conversations about anything and everything. Traveling, reading, and any activity that gives me an adrenaline rush truly energizes me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in the beauty of human connection. For me, traveling isn’t just about seeing new places—it’s about meeting new people, sharing stories, learning from different cultures, and seeing life through someone else’s eyes. I’ve always felt that the most memorable part of any trip is the people you meet along the way.
Right now, I don’t have much free time to travel or hang out because I’m working almost every hour of the day. But I still enjoy making new friends and connecting through chats. If you’re visiting Egypt, I’d be happy to suggest cool places to visit, local experiences, and fun plans to make your trip special.
Even if I can’t meet in person, I’d love to chat, share ideas, and learn from each other.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Arabic music—especially the classics like Umm Kulthum, Fayrouz, and Warda. I’m also a big fan of 2000s Arabic hits, they bring back so many memories! As for English music, I usually go with whatever’s trending.
When it comes to movies, I enjoy English films the most. I absolutely love animation—Up and Ratatouille are my favorites!
I’m into romantic movies like The Holiday and Five Feet Apart, and I really enjoy emotional dramas such as Hacksaw Ridge, I Am Sam, Wonder, The Green Mile, and Hachi: A Dog's Tale.
For biographies, Patch Adams and The Pursuit of Happyness truly inspired me.
I don’t watch many English series, but I did enjoy Emily in Paris. As for Arabic movies and series, I watch them sometimes, but I’m not really obsessed.
