Music, Movies, and Books

I love Sufjan Stevens, Beyonce, the Mamma Mia! soundtrack, Afropop, Bill Evans, and I still listen to an embarrassing amount of third-wave ska. Let me know if you have music recommendations! Other than that, I read any books I can find for free, but some of my favorites are Gone Girl, Lonesome Dove, and the Game of Thrones series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once had to help deliver a baby in a hostel in Mexico City - it was amazing, terrifying, and completely overwhelming. (If you're pregnant, please don't plan on giving birth in a hostel, I wouldn't recommend it)

Teach, Learn, Share

If you know any language besides English I'd love to learn it! I can help with English or my (not nearly as good) Portuguese/Spanish/Swahili. Other than that, I spend a lot of time cooking; I'd love to make you a meal or bake you some bread.
