ABOUT ME

I live and work in Rotterdam, have a boyfriend for 15 years now, who has his own apartment. We don't live together but see each other on a daily basis. My apartment is small but not too far from the center. I like to go out in the weekend with friends. I enjoy traveling and meeting people from different places. Unfortunately I don't get to travel too much because of my job and freelance work.

PHILOSOPHY

Go through life making friends and be happy? I'm afraid I'm not too good with personal philosophies.

I like to provide a place for people to crash and in return meet interesting people, experience a bit of their culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some real nice people through CS, both by hosting and traveling myself. Overall it has been a fun experience.

I used to do a sort of couchsurfing when I went to play volleybal in other cities.. me and my team mates would camp out at a host's place, usually someone we barely knew, I guess it's sort of the same idea. I always enjoy it though.

Interests

Flying, I'm a private pilot, I like to create satirical cartoons, www.cartooncreator.nl, go out and meet people .. go to volleybal tournaments.. have dinner parties with friends .. walks at the beach.. many things really.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not big on reading, except the daily newspapers, like to listen to classical music when I'm at home.. I like to watch documentaries about history, politics sometimes, science and technology. I create (cutaway) illustrations for "De Ingenieur" (Dutch technology magazine) and "Hurriyet" (Turkish newspaper), just to do a bit of name dropping..
