COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Central Australia, 1988, motorcycling during a rainstorm. I was a forlorn drowned rat. Standing in the Laundromat lobby, water forming a lake at my feet. A woman there took a look and said I needed some dry clothes and a couch. Her husband was not the lest surprised at another guest for dinner.
