About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live with intention.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been able to use CS as much as I'd like, but we can change that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the pleasure of utilizing Couchsurfing to find a host while I was in Catalonia. I stayed with an amazing family, and they took me in as one of their own. We spent a couple days in a small village where their family resides and celebrated family, friends, and tradition. I never would have had an opportunity like that without Couchsurfing.

Interests

My passion is the outdoors. I climb, backpack, paddle, camp, fish, hike... just about anything to give me an excuse to enjoy the fresh air. I enjoy reading, coffee, adult beverages, live music, dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Blue grass, Indie, Folk, Jazz, Showtunes, Top 40, just depends on the day and the situation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first wilderness trip, I was in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Northern Minnesota, and I was in the middle of a large lake when a storm suddenly popped up. The wind, lightning, rain, everything was shaking the boat and my nerves. It was the first time I ever went up against nature, and it rocked my world. I've never been the same since.

My second most awestruck moment was sitting atop Mother Mountain at Mt. Rainier National Park, watching the sun set after a tedious day's hike... and realizing only slightly too late that the sun was setting and that we weren't going to make it to our camp before dark... we didn't. But it's fun to camp off the beaten trail sometimes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I recently moved to Boulder, so I'm still exploring myself. However, I do know some beautiful spots to catch the sunset and where to find a good beer after.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and make music, and I'm always down to lend a helping hand with house or yard work.
