IN A WORLD TRIP!

Hey, we are Catarina, from Portugal and Davi, from Brazil. In 2021, we quit our "9h to 18h life", left all the comfort behind and “hit the road, Jack!”!

We spent 1 year traveling around Africa and a little bit of Middle East and now we have been exploring Asia for more than 2 years. Couchsurfing gave us THE BEST interactions and we made AMAZING friendships for life that we didn’t believe it was possible. So if we send you a request, probably we want to be your friend 😂, besides the fact we need a place to take a little rest.

We love meeting new people, making friends, understanding different cultures (we make A LOT of questions), trying diverse food etc. Our purpose is to evolve as human beings and sometimes have a couple of 🍻 of a cup of ☕️.

🇵🇹 Everything started in 2018, when we met each other at the company we used to work for.
💌 It was definitely not love at first sight. It took us a while to start talking to each other but once we did, we never stopped doing it anymore, until we realized we were sharing a life.
🌎 Moreover, we found out that we shared a lot of dreams and that the biggest one was to travel all over.
🎒We started travelling around Portugal, then Europe, then America and now we are doing a world trip.

Couchsurfing gives you experiences that is IMPOSSIBLE to find anywhere else.
It is hard to put in words how amazing the journey gets with Couchsurfing and how many great people we crossed paths with.
Nowadays, we feel that traveling to a new country without Couchsurfing means that our experience is not complete.

Música, películas y libros

Catarina: I love calm music that help me to relax like Bossa Nova and Jazz.

Davi: I can go from Red Hot Chili Peppers to Andrea Bocelli in a blink of an eye. I play the guitar and now I am learning the Ukulele to play on the road.

We are also big fans of reading, especially books of self improvement and mindfulness.

We prefer real documentaries over movies.

Travel 1 year in Africa was an amazing learning journey for us!
Also traveling in a motorhome is definitely one of the most exciting things we did together (we want to repeat one day).

We love sharing and chatting, so from a lot of amazing stories until our culture and traditions, we are up to share and talk about.

Davi can also teach a little about playing guitar and Catarina can teach some Portuguese.
