When I was young, I always dreamt of going places to see the world.
After graduated from high school, I tried searching what is my interest when travelling. I slowly discovered that I like history, architectural, beauty of Mother Nature and the sound of beaches.
My first trip to overseas was to Australia. It was excitement in my heart. What was the feeling to board an airplane first time? Do not know what is a seat belt and air pressure. Only sit still and listen to what my colleague advise. I landed at Sydney and later to Gold Coast. It was the start of my travel journal. I also travelled a lot to China due to work assignments.
I also learnt scuba diving by chance and love the sea so much. I would take every opportunity to go diving with some dive buddies or sit by the beach to enjoy the sea breeze. I still looking forward to dive in the Red Sea or Great Barrier Reef or swim in a shark cage.
I am also love to try different food when travelling, except any dish with beef. Sometimes, my travel buddy will not tell me what the dish is and let me try the taste. I learn to take note of the ingredient and preparation method. Seriously, I am not as good as a Masterchef.
Whenever I travel, I like to stay at that moment and enjoy the happiness within. Sometimes, I felt time is constant but everything around me changes. That's always a wonderful experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I heard of a friend's experience and went ahead to a few CS meeting. I want to know more people and exchange travel tips. Every traveller has his/ her own experience in a different country/ town. It's always as good as listening to a story.
Hope to gain the memorable travel experience with other people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to music, as long as not too heavy metal. I like easy listening, jazz, pop, slow rock, urban and classical. I also enjoy watching performing arts in theatre.
I love reading love stories, travelling magazines, home design magazines.
Movies.... well, my all time favourite is The Sound of Music, Mamma Mia, LOTR, Star Wars and any comedy, legendary, fantasy movies. If there is a part of the movie that is sad, I will cry and you better get ready tissue box for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteer in building a wooden house for the poor in two days. I kinda find myself able to handle hammer and nails. Hahahaha....
Physical challenge - hike up to Table Mountain when the cable car was not operating. Body aching on the next day.
Coral propagation - learning the sustainable method for coral planting
