Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I think it is a great way to experience new places and meeting people from different cultures. Often when traveling you end up seeing what every other tourist before you have seen, I hope that staying with someone who actually knows the area will help me get a better idea of what that places really have to offer.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I will watch pretty much anything as long as it's in good company. Books: I looooove reading! And I read pretty much any genre! I just finish 'Better', by Atul Gawande and I am loved it (would definitely recommend it!!!) now I am reading 'the Cuckoo's Calling' by J. K. Rowling. Music: I don't often listen to music when I'm home (the shower being the exception), but in the car the radio is always on - Karaoke Time!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy learning about other people's view on life and their culture and I love sharing my culture with other people as well! I love a friendly debate about pretty much anything, because I always feel like I learn something new, wether we agree or not is not important there is always something to be learned.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I am a very happy and energetic person and I hope to share some of my previous travel experiences, culture and happy self with you.
My Interests
Reading, watching movies, eating out, seeing new things, being with friends. I generally love new experiences and meeting new people, which is also why I am backpacking and one of my many reasons for becoming an au pair.
