I'm a 26 year old student who loves travelling especially due to cultural aspects. I think there is nothing more exciting than the first culture shock you experience when leaving the airplane in a foreign country!

Sometimes when backpacking in remote areas away from the tourist spots it appears that finding accommodation is easier said than done. Couchsurfing, however, proved to be very useful in such situations.

Right now, I am totally into German Hip Hop and African Dance Hall.
However, when travelling, I always try to find some music of local artists. I think it gives you an extra-feeling of the country you're visiting, and even years later it will remind you of the great experiences you made during that time.

When visiting China, of course, you have to see the Great Wall which, in recent years, has sort of degenerated into an overpopulated tourist attraction. However, there are still spots which can be visited without any other tourists. Finding them and, especially, finding someone who gets you there is not very easy. But, the effort is totally worth it and the experience is unique!
