Overview
About Me
After having been a nomad for 3years, I came back to my "roots" and settled down in Grenoble in september of this year (2024).
I've done myself a lot of hitchikking and used Couchsurfing. I was really touched and inspired by the generosity many people have showed me on the road, and I wish to "give it back" in a way. I realised that a small attention, a little help, doesn't cost much and can bring so much! Sharing is the most beautiful thing <3 And I'll be happy to travel through others since I will have less occasions to do it now!
I will still maybe look for some couchs if I travel during my vacations ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the most beautiful journeys are made of encounters.
Also staying with the locals is the best way to discover a place and it's culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy works of art from various cultures and times. This is also travelling!
Music: I listen to a loooot of music. And I have very eclectic tastes. Favorite type of music probably remains rock, blues/soul, "chanson à texte" (old french songwriters). A song to escape: Taro by Alt-J
Movies: I especially love psychological and social drama's. An emotionally strong movie: "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" by Milos Forman
Books: I love novels/short stories with an in-depth understanding of the characters' psychology. I also read quite a lot of essays, especially in my fields of predilection, sociology and anthropology. A "subtle" novel: "Confusion of Feelings" by Stephan Zweig
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a six month civilian service in Burkina Faso when I was 18 y.o. Went out of my comfort zone a lot!
Or: Being awakened at 3am by a dear screaming just next to me as I was sleeping in my hamac in the Black Forest
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some French! Also karate (I mean... Why not??) or ukulele (even though I'm not an expert myself)
I like to cook so I could make some (vegetarian) dishes for you
I can be of good compagny ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Share a meal, stories, points of views... Talk about our culture, life, society, travels, food... Go for a walk, to a bar, to a museum, sing, dance, play games, watch a movie...
