Imagine a street seller is selling different kind of brands but tells every brand is the best one. How likely you believe it? At least try to change the name at the beginning and keep the rest the same. E.g.:

"Hi Cem. I need a place to stay......."
or
"Hi Cem, I am coming to Milan for......."

I mean, even if you forget to change the name and call me Alessandro for example, that would be much better than no name. At least i understand that you pay some effort to personalize the entrance of the request.

Long story short, you can create the most sincere "copy+paste" message ever, but if it is not personalized, you are breaking our hearts. (i mean the hosts. because this is a general problem of the hosts).

I am a Turkish guy who lives in Milan and carries the Gemini features (it doesnt matter if you believe in signs or not. This might be the most famous zodiac among people considering the fun type and the main stars also have cool names: Castor and Pollux. I am sure you also know the name of the movie which they are used in -not the short movie- ). There has never been a conflict between me and anyone because of my prejudices because i dont have any (as much as i am aware of).

One day me and my friends were having some drinks and listening to live performance, however the topic turned into the travelling. One of my friends told me about this program and the next thing I remember is filling the membership form:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted by different people who trusted me in several countries and I really appreciate them. Now I want to pay this back to the travel enthusiasts. I know how it feels to be in the middle of desiring to travel but being financially unstable. So I decided to GIVE PRIORITIES to the surfers who are NOT VERIFIED and dont have many references. References may be important up to some point but I dont believe that paying to couchsurfing makes the people more trustworthy. So If your approach is friendly and warm, I accept you as much as I can. If i cant, for sure i will explain the reason.
