ANDREA: Hi! I am an English teacher/trainer: passionate about inspiring others, travel, adventure and living life fully! I have done crazy amazing things like take my nephew and niece around the world for 3.5 months when they were 10,11 years old and bike with Alejandro from Vancouver to the south of Mexico. He is still biking, and I am starting exciting new projects that I want to share with you!

1) Intensive Immersion Experience Courses:
Learning English in a small group in nature: relaxing on vacation and full immersion English learning at the same time. I'll be doing these small group intensives this year in Canada (July), Ireland (August with Shanthi from English with a Twist), South Africa (October, with Ronnie from EngVids) and Australia and New Zealand (November). and share with anyone you know who is thinking about learning English in an English speaking country. It's a much more effective way to learn English than the typical school/homestay combination (as a teacher in those schools for years I know this firsthand) - that's why I am doing it.

2)My other project is to build my own home! It's been my dream for years and I finally bought a tiny piece of land on the coast here in BC and will start building in 2017 I hope!

ALEJANDRO: Alejandro is continuing to bike south. We started together and he is keeping the dream going, as of early May 2016 he is closer to home, in Peru!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing years ago, in the early days. I started as a host and have surfed many times over the years as well. I have made many friends through couchsurfing, and love being able to meet new friends all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

hitched a ride in New Zealand - ended up staying 2 nights on the couch of super nice guys who lent me their (unisured!) car to drive around for 3 days!
