We always lived in Tourist cities when I was growing up and my parents opened their home to visitors from all over hte world who somehow found a connection to us. It always seemed natural to have guests we didn't know stay by us.

When I grew up and lived in Africa I continued the family tradition. I always had a steady stream of visitors who wanted to stay in a kosher home!!
I also traveled the world as a backpacker, back in the day when "servace" was the "couch surfing" organization.
My husband is also very welcoming and we still enjoy visitors all year round.

We are very "natural" people. We like healthy eating, gardening, outdoors, recycling and animals.

As a young widow I traveled around the world with my 8 year old son, visiting Africa, Madagascar Malaysia, Thailand, Borneo, sumba, lombak, and other wild places.
