I am Stanley from singapore, phrase to describe me are poor fashion sense, unathletic, annoying puns all the time. Eggcellent now you have a brief understanding of me.
If I'm visiting you, I can show you different dishes I learnt traveling and alot of stories.
If you are visiting me, I can show you the different side of singapore, from durian picking to the hidden piece of nature in this conceret jungle(a nice one thou).

My very first memories of traveling is with my mother. To say I hated it is an understatement. we were in a tour group, rushing to destinations one after another to see "famous" attractions. Untill I was 18 I tried every excuse I can come up with to not go overseas when I was asked.

On my 18th birthday, I decided to "prove" that I am a grown man by traveling in australia alone for 2 month. (back then I thought australia is all wilderness and I'm rambo living in the jungle with snakes and spiders.)

this experience made me realize that australia isn't all wilderness like steve irwin's shows but the snakes and spiders still holds true. I finally understood the difference between "traveler" and "tourist", during my time
there I worked illegally in some odd jobs, lived with a local, attended some university lessons, learnt that meat you bought from the butcher doesn't need to be washed?!?!! And etc... I guess I learned about their culture, lifestyle and everything in between. (Yeah nah, vegemite, sausage sizzling, $10 steak special during weekdays) if you understand you understand.

Now when I travel all I really care about are the people.
