ABOUT ME

Painting a self-portrait is always difficult. (probably because my art skills are lacking). People have described me as anything from intellectual to partyer. In short (no pun intended as I stand at a soaring 5'1" tall), I would say I am an outgoing, open-minded, sociable, athletic person who is always looking for a fun adventure.

My life story in a nutshell is that I was born and raised in the Yukon Canada and survived climbing mountains to snowboard, building snow-caves for camping, floating down the Yukon river in rubber tubes, and jumping into frozen lakes. Have you ever seen people bike to work at -40C? Have I mentioned I may be slightly crazy? If you'd like the long version without the nutshell, it's as simple as getting in contact.

PHILOSOPHY

Say it as it is, no bullshit!
Work hard and play hard! Always love what you are doing, if you don't, then do something about it. It's not what you have that should make you happy, but rather what you can do and who you can share it with. One of my passions in life is to travel, to explore the world, to help someone along the way, to try something new, to keep active and stay healthy. No material goods can give me this thrill in life, only experiences and people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

You truly find out how amazing and generous the CS community is when you get into unplanned situations while traveling. The entire project is an amazing give and take experience and I hope it never gets commercialized and strays away from this!

Interesses

Travel, sports and being active (AFL, soccer, snowboard, surf, volleyball, canoeing, white water rafting, mountain climbing, rock climbing, biking, hiking and pretty much anything active you might be able to come up with), camping, volenteering, international development and generally just having a good time! And definitely partying.
