Overview
About Me
Hello! We are a couple traveling and building things out of the Southwest United States, we are in Denmark for a wedding and would love meet you and learn more about where you live . 𖤓
About Summer: I am a honduran-american ceramicist / artist / farmer from the desert. I am very interested in organic agriculture, having farmed for the past 7+ years on small farms including flower and produce operations. I love to share meals, bake cakes, collaborate in the kitchen, forage for local ingredients & whatever I can get my hands on. I am a potter by trade! I love seeing ceramics, tiles, and history of clay from different cultures around the world. I have worked for artist residencies for the past few years and love spaces that cultivate artistic growth. Do you know of a good residency? Let me know!
About Charlie: Hi I am Charlie! I am carpenter and builder have been building affordable housing out of mostly natural materials in the Southwest of the US for the past couple years. I like exploring new landscapes and ecosystems and most outdoor activities, cooking, music, dancing, foraging for food, making art, going to see art, and exploring new places during the day or night. I enjoy trying to live and travel with a low environmental impact and through reciprocal relationships rather than financial exchanges when I can.
We love that this international community exists based purely on sharing and a desire to meet new people. Pretty wonderful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing offers a way to connect and interact with a new community in a way that is different from just buying a hotel room or airbnb. We feel strongly about learning and experiencing different perspectives, sharing and exchanging experiences/food/art and meeting other people from a variety of backgrounds. We'd also love to bring people to Saguache, Colorado in the beautiful Rocky Mountains,!! Couchsurfing offers a great platform for sharing!
