Back on CS after a three-year pandemic hiatus.

My partner Kitty and I have just spent six months hiking the Te Araroa (2500km across Aotearoa New Zealand) then backpacking in Asia and hiking the Camino del Norte in Spain. Back to normal life for now.

To meet new people and be immersed in new places. I like to be of the beaten path and see a different side to places, meet the locals and share some experiences and conversation!

A lot of cycling around Europe, once a loop of Iberia, and in 2023 a week-long race from the French border to Andalusia. Mostly quiet roads interspersed with occasional heatstroke, hypothermia and feral dog attacks.

I'm a fairly decent cook and can knock up a nice veggie or vegan meal. I speak French fluently and have solid Spanish. Local knowledge on hikes and bike routes if you're into that.
