Hello everyone!

I'm on a creative sabbath year, where I focus on writing a new film project and in the meantime want to volunteer on farms via wwoofing. I am, next to filmmaking, very interested in sustainable living and would like to learn more about that. In how I travel I also search more sustainable ways and fight against gentrification and capitalism that makes the life of locals always more difficult and for rich travelers always more easy. Couchsurfing could be one of the solutions for me as it is a more peer to peer structure where connection and respect is the base.

As I'm going through some nice cities in the north of Italy I would like to spend this opportunity meeting people and visiting those cities through the eyes of people living there.

I can tell you I'm an open minded and easy going person who goes through life with curiosity and eager to connect.

LIVING IN GHENT

I finished my master in the audio visual arts in Ghent (Belgium) and do acrobatics (partner-acro, acroyoga, ground acro, recently acrodance) as a hobby. My purpose for the future is to combine cinema with circus arts.
At the moment I work as a teacher in a circus school and I'm making a short movie about movement.

I like dancing (in particular salsa), outdoor sports, reading and making music.

Oh and I love cooking! Ofcourse I adjust to the place and the people, but I try to discover more delicious vegetarian and vegan food. As I stay at your place I'll do all I can to make a yummy meal, as love goes through the stomach!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing gives an opportunity to meet locals and other travelers, and share similarities and differences. Until now I only had very beautiful Couchsurfing experiences and it makes me happy to meet people who have faith in humanity, like to share experiences, but also their living space and believe in the goodness of the people.

I would like to see new places and learn to know people with different cultures. I'm learning Spanish, French, English and Italian and I think this is a good way to improve them. I also want to learn new music, films, new dances, new ways of thinking, etc.

I prefer to meet girls through this platform, as I sadly understood that some people see this as an opportunity to date. I'm definitely not excluding guys, but I want you to know that I am searching for/ offering a safe environment without uncomfortable comments or looks.

Music:
I love all sorts of music, depending on the atmosphere. To dance I prefer latin music, especially salsa, bachata and merengue! I adore every song Gustavo Santaolalla made and listen a lot when I have to study or clean. :)
At the moment I'm also really into flamenco music!
