I’m from the North Georgia mountains, but I love waking up not quite sure where the day will lead. Traveling solo teaches me to appreciate the little things—sharing food, letting the evening sky slow me down, and turning strangers into friends. Quick to laugh, always down for karaoke, and forever trying to pet the cats.

I’m taking some time off work to travel without a set return date, letting each day unfold as it comes. What excites me most about Couchsurfing is the chance to really connect with locals—sharing meals, stories, and everyday moments that make a place feel lived in. I don’t just want to pass through; I want to be present and experience life as it’s lived wherever I land.

兴趣

I love spending time in museums and finding little corners of a city that most people skip over. At night, I’m usually looking for a fun themed cocktail bar, some good music, dancing or karaoke. I also like connecting with the local gay community wherever I go—it’s always led to some of my best nights out and most meaningful friendships. Mostly, I just enjoy when travel feels a little unscripted, with room for surprises.

For me, my favorite music is anything I can sing karaoke to. My favorite movie is Interstellar, because it reminds me that love isn’t just a feeling but a force that can stretch across time and space. In books, I love Life of Pi and the questions it raises about how we search for meaning and experience reality. I’m fascinated by the search for meaning and how our minds cope with and experience reality. And with The Song of Achilles—well, I’m just a hopeless romantic.

A helicopter ride over Mount Everest in Nepal was equal parts breathtaking and humbling. Nothing makes you rethink your place in the world quite like hovering above the highest point on Earth.

Teach: I can teach you how to crush a karaoke duet, swap a few travel hacks, or tell you what life’s like in the North Georgia mountains. I’ve also restored my farmhouse so I’m
pretty handy!!!

I can share good company, easy laughter, and plenty of stories from the road. I’m both a good storyteller and a great listener—I love swapping experiences and hearing how others see the world. If you’re up for it, I’ll happily sing a karaoke song or two (duets encouraged). I enjoy sharing meals, whether that’s helping cook, grabbing street food, or just splitting whatever’s around. Mostly, I try to bring a sense of presence and appreciation for the small moments.
