About Me

First and foremost, I want to experience other cultures and ways of living.
Additionally, I want to help the world realise that ethnicity does not dictate where you are from. I am a Hong Konger!
請勿問我,"你原来係邊國人?”. 我係香港人!

**Please read everything here before sending me a request. I cannot accept guests all the time and can only host for a few days at a time. If you want to stay with me, you'll need to have a conversation first. Messages like, "Please host me because Hong Kong is expensive", will be ignored. Also, If you're on a transit of less than a day and looking for a free place to sleep and someone to hold your hand, I'm not the host for you.**

I always look at the world with the wide-eyed wonder of a child and would much rather be exploring than working! I'm fascinated by different cultures and have been lucky enough to live in a few countries that have a completely different way of life to my own. I also enjoy speaking other languages and would really love to learn Spanish so I can live in South America one day.

I have a travel blog that I update when I travel. You can check out my recent adventures at -

I'll try anything once, twice if I like it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Comedy, action and scifi movies are my favourites, not that I get to the cinema too often.

Rock and dance music. I really like the vibe at music festivals.

Scifi/fantasy books by Raymond Feist and Terry Brooks among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't just narrow it down to one, the world is too awesome for that!

The most adrenaline pumping thing I've done is jump from the highest commerical bungy tower in the world, twice!!

I've fulfilled my life-long dreams of seeing the pyramids in Egypt, Machu Picchu in Peru and the Darvaza Gas Crater in Turkmenistan.

I've been mesmerised by the beauty of the Croatian coastline.

I've been above the sea of clouds in Taiwan.

I've hiked in the Indian Himalayas.

I've floated down a snake infested river on a tube in Laos.

I've stayed in the slums of Ulaanbatar in Mongolia

I've experienced hospitality at it's finest at a Ramadan 'break fast' meal with an amazingly awesome family in Palestine. I cannot recommend visiting Palestine enough!

I've seen icebergs in the middle of summer in Eastern Canada.

I've hiked up an active volcano in Nicaragua, only to speed down the other side on rickety old board.

I've circumnavigated an entire island in the South Pacific and was rewarded with possibly the most awesome views ever.

I've ridden through the desert of Mauritania in a cargo car of one of the world's longest freight trains.

I've experienced West Africa through the eyes of locals, as a solo traveller. Now that was certainly an adventure!

I've hitchhiked along the Silk Road in Kyrgyzstan and experienced the world's most hospitable locals in Uzbekistan.

I've been at the Gate to Hell in Turkmenistan.

I've seen mud volcanoes in Azerbaijan.

I visited a snow castle in Northern Finland.

One of the most amazing experiences I've ever had was taking part in a traditional new year celebration when I was an exchange student in Japan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that everyone has something to offer, even if it's just another point of view.
I have been known to strike up conversations with people that most would shy away from and those conversations end up being the most memorable.

What I Can Share with Hosts
