Whilst here in South America I plan to embrace the latin lifestyle and let music and dance seep into my soul. Along the way I will tackle all and every adventure possible. 'A Ver Que Pasa!'
I can only describe myself as a passionate and fun loving person who does not want to leave any stone unturned in my quest to enjoy my life. I have been relentlessly pursuing my dream of travel and find that it gives me so much more than I ever thought.
My wandering soul is always calling to me to go off on another adventure and meet new people and experience everything possible. I love to be spontaneous and make decisions on a whim whenever possible. A plan is great but the unexpected is even better.
Encouraged by my family at home in Australia (an amazing group including my mum & dad, 2 brothers, 1 sister and 6 nieces and nephews) to live my dreams and go conquer the world, I have the freedom to travel and know that I have my family's complete and utter support. It's important to me as I grew up in a very close knit family. When we are together we just love to have a lot of fun and a night with my brothers and sister is usually a loud and fun fuelled occasion.
I love a challenge and to push the boundaries wherever I can. When I think I can't do it, that is when I know I must do it.
Sport is one of my greatest passions. Not just playing it but watching football (soccer) especially. One of my travel goals is to watch the great rivalry matches from around the world. I also love visiting Olympic sites whenever I am in a host city. Having studied sports management and the history of sport I love to include that in my travels.
Other than that I am always up for pretty much anything.....

Explore. Dream. Discover.
Never regret the things you do only the things you don't do.
I believe I live my life simply and genuinely. For me its all about the world. This great big world that has so much to offer, so much to teach us, so much to show us. I learn more on the road than I could ever do from a book or by someone teaching me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At present whilst I am travelling I want to experience couch surfing to meet like minded people and to share locals perspectives on their areas.
When I get home to Australia I want to be a host and show people my beautiful country and in particular my city of Melbourne. Having travelled a lot I have had so many people help me along the way and its nice to contribute back to the community in some way.
I would consider myself to be a seasoned Couchsurfer now especially here in South America and throughout Argentina and Chile. It certainly changes your whole travel experience, having the opportunity to meet new and interesting locals, speak the language and opens you up to opportunities you would otherwise not have been presented. It's more than just having a bed, it's an opportunity to share stories and travel ideas and to understand a culture from the local viewpoint. My experiences have always been extremely positive and I am thankful for all the people I have been privileged to meet so far.
Travel and sport are my two biggest passions but its more about the people you meet and the atmosphere involved.
Another great passion is reading and books in general. I love learning new things, about history, stories of people's lives. I'm a traditionalist in that I love to have the actual book...no e-reader for me.
Very interested in photography, mainly through my travels. Intent to create a whole wall of the world in my house with pictures of amazing faces and places I've been.
Languages & culture - currently trying to learn Spanish and love everything about the Latin cultures in general.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - Shawshank Redemption, Life Is Beautiful, Amelie, Into The Wild, Motorcycle Diaries
Books - Kiterunner, Thousand Splendid Suns, any autobiography as I love reading about real people`s lives
Music - changes with my mood but definitely love a good rock band - U2, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Muse
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've just recently spent a month sailing Antarctica and I can honestly say it was the most amazing experience of my life! The frozen continent is something else, there are no words that can truly describe its beauty and having the fortune to sail in a yacht was an experience I could never have imagined in a lifetime. This precious place has changed me forever and my heart is now bursting with a new knowledge only gain from such a place.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share my knowledge of the world that I have visited so far. What I have learned from those I've met and from being out and alone in the world, although never really alone.
I am always thirsty for more knowledge - to learn new ways of doing things, of being and more and more knowledge about the world itself. The people, the history....its so exciting to learn about this.
