Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m Chiharu, a pharmacist from Japan who loves long walks (yes, 5 hours is nothing for me), exploring different cultures, and learning languages. I’m curious, easygoing, and always up for deep talks or silly jokes. Let’s share stories and smiles!
I’m open to meeting up for coffee or a walk around the city, but currently not offering a place to stay!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to connect with people beyond small talk. I love learning how others live, what drives them, and what makes them laugh. This platform feels like the perfect place for real human connection.
Interests
I’m into:
• Long walks that turn into mini adventures
• Music: memorizing rap lyrics, singing my heart out, K-pop, Western hits, Japanese classics
• Public health & prevention: I’m a health nerd who loves learning how small habits can change lives
• DIY fitness: stair climbing, “while-doing-something” workouts, and chasing symmetry
• Language exchange, especially English bars in Shibuya (come practice with me!)
• Nutrition balance, oral care (yes, I’m that anti-cavity girl), and random health hacks
• Exploring zines, indie art, and street vibes
• Deep convos, spontaneous moments, and laughing till we can’t breathe
Basically, I’m always looking for ways to level up my body, brain, and heart — while having fun doing it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Big fan of rap, K-pop, and anything with a catchy beat.
Movies: Love movies that make me think (or cry!).
Books: Mostly into self-growth, public health, and fun zines!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once walked all day through Tokyo without checking the map—just following my instinct, discovering hidden cafés, zines, and street art. That day felt like a real-life adventure book!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share Japanese culture, pharmacy tips (no weird drug stories, I promise!), and even teach some cool Japanese expressions. I’d love to learn your language, your cooking style, or how you see the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A positive attitude, some home remedies (pharmacist bonus!), stories from Japan, and probably a weird snack you’ve never tried. I can also help you improve your Japanese or cook something simple and healthy.
