CURRENT MISSION Experiment, connect with other fun and interesting people and cultures ABOUT ME We are a couple of men with a young daughter and a 12 year old Portugeese Water Dog. We love to sail and travel in our "down time" and meet others. We are both social and curious and when we travel like to see what the "locals" experience. We read a lot, exercise, enjoy music (jazz, electronic, classical), and absolutely love experimenting with food. Meeting other gay men - single and coupled is always rewarding as this can be difficult to find, especially when our daughter is in tow. PHILOSOPHY Challenge your assumptions, keep reaching, take chances on people. Assign, in advance, goodwill to others and it's always returned with interest. And if you can get someplace by water, by all means, take a sailboat!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We have met great friends through CS. It is the best way to connect with others as we travel and receive others in our home. Though we live and work in the city, we are both "outdoorsy" folks who enjoy simplicity, quiet, complexity, conflict and all that eventually brings us to peace and understanding. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE The best CS experience was meeitng Paco and Paulo on our honeymoon to Portugal (2206). They showed us the sights and came back to Boston to visit us and our new baby a few months later. We remain friends and see them from time to time in the US, Spain and Portugal.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Kayaking with a pod of Orca Whales in Southeast Alaska. Safari on the open plains of Kenya and Tanzania. Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, running Grand Canyon in a raft, Breaking 3 hours in the Boston marathon, finding a love partner for life, parties in Sydney! Loving our daughter.

My Interests
Sailing, hiking, exploring, wines, travels, airplanes, boats, trains, autos. If it moves its fun! Now with baby we're completely satisfied with a warm meal, a bottle of wine, a fire in the hearth and a few new downloads from itunes. It is is summer time, it's getting back aboard our sailboat and getting underway.
