Hiii! I’m Chloe, a junior at Stanford University majoring in Philosophy and Anthropology. I am a passionate writer, filmmaker, and artist. After completing my freshman year, I embarked on a transformative gap year, hitchhiking across continents from the Arctic to Antarctica and from Alaska to Argentina. I hitched trucks, ambulances, motorcycles, a sailboat across the Caribbean Sea, more than 120 rides! In 2023, I traveled across the Eurasian continent. Throughout this year-and-a-half journey, I wrote two books and two movie scripts, encountered a variety of life possibilities! I returned to school last spring. (I am taking a gap year in 2025 to make a film!) I began my artistic journey early, starting with sketching at age 5 and practicing Chinese calligraphy at age 8. I also engage in oil painting, sculpture, sewing, ceramics, and create various handicrafts and art books. As a photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes—from the icy edges of Antarctica to the mesmerizing geometry of the Sahara and the majestic peaks of the Himalayas. You can view my photography portfolio here: https://chloe-daydreamer.cc/photography/ Also, as a film director, I have directed my first narrative short last year. I love hiking, diving , dancing, and flying! I’d like to meet interesting people and exchange life stories!
