About Me
Updated June 2024
42 year old Australian, living in Malta since 2008. Haven't been as active on CS the last few years.
I enjoy meeting new people, quite simply Im a people person. I've travelled to most corners of Europe, whether it's for rugby or for work or leisure.
My nickname is Choc, and Malta is the home of my migrant parents.
Born and raised in Sydney (Australia), I'm a proud ambassador of both Australia and Malta.
Island life in Malta is rather casual, but everything you'd expect of a little island/group of islands. Yet we're on the doorstep to Europe, and for that reason, Malta is a great base for one wishing to travel Europe.
PHILOSOPHY
Honesty is the best policy.
Believe in your Dreams.
I love life, so I love to live and live to love!
It wont happen over night, but it will happen.
Don't argue with idiots. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Success is what happens when thousands of hours of commitment and preparation meet up with one moment of opportunity, this day is that one moment of opportunity.
I have a dream....that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW
I met Tero (A CS'er from Finland and living in Malta) at a rugby game after he told me about CS, I was keen to get involved!
Since then, I can safely say it was a great decision!
WHY
I was about to start my life as a traveller.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm limited in my ability to host so I get as involved as possible in events in Malta. Whether its organising a big CS event or taking a car load of CS'ers around Malta for the day, I try and do my bit wherever possible.Always, a few memories stand out from the rest, so outside of Malta, I've gotta list the following as my most memorable times....Paris, Stuttgart, Manchester, Norway, Italy and Ireland.
