ABOUT ME

I´m interested in people and like to get contact with people of different countries and cultures. I like to travel individually and get contact with local people from the region where I`m travelling about. I`ve made a lot of "island hopping" in Greece and made hiking tours on the islands. I know Denmark quite well by cycle tours. I also made a lot of cycle tours in Germany, mostly along rivers . In Switzerland I did a lot of mountain hiking. The greatest tour I ever made and I enjoyed most of all was a canoe and trekking tour in Canada; this was a guided group tour.

I like languages and I always want to learn the fine differences of synonyms. I speak German language in its classical form called Hochdeutsch = High German and I can also teach it professionally.
I like cooking as well as baking and can do it well. I can share my recipes and also can talk with you about my experiences and give you quite a lot of tips which I´ve got from other experienced people and professional experts in cooking.

First of all I share time for communication because for me that`s the meaning and most important issue of hospitality. I also share meals. And if somebody wants to do sightseeing I can give some recommendations if wanted.
