I would describe myself as an open minded and easy going guy. Always curious to see and learn new stuff and meet new interesting people. As a German I am kind of very much straight forward, so please don´t be offended if I say things very directly as it comes to my mind :-) I am very much into sports and I like to hike and climb as much as I can but always interested in trying new activities.

After six years of work I gave up my bourgeois live in Zurich to fulfill my dream of a worldtrip. Other people get married, build a house and have children... but I still have a dream before bending the knee for rules of society :-)

As you can see I am not 21 anymore, so I bring some live experience and I allready calmed down a bit. I am now more interested in learning things about other countries and cultures, see new and unusual places than doing party every day. I want to explore the world and see it from different perspectives. But sometimes party ist still fine ;-) I am also very football addicted so I love groundhopping and see how other fans celebrate this most awesome sport in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the best parts about traveling is meeting new people, both fellow travelers and locals! No matter the trip, these are often the most valuable memories for me.

Actually I am very new to couchsurfing. On my last journeys I always choose hostels or guesthouses. Good to meet other backpackers from all over the world but very seldom locals.

People recommended couchsurfing to me, especially in unusual countries where many people don´t like to travel, so I give this new experience a try ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

The last books I read were the whole "A Song of Ice and Fire" serie and "Praise Sexism". Actually I always try to read books from the country I visit, so actually it´s "Peace and War".

I am very much into electronic and techno music but also powerfull rock music. A no go is hip hop and r´n´b.
