I caught the “Iceland virus” over 20 years ago while hitchhiking around the island. In the summer of 2012, I finally moved to the North of Iceland to experience everyday life here. I originally planned to stay for just one year… but plans change. ;)

I’ve spent my whole life traveling around the world, and I still believe it's one of the best ways to learn about other cultures, mentalities, and, perhaps most importantly, about oneself. Throughout my travels, I’ve experienced a lot of hospitality and kindness, and now I’d like to give something back to fellow travelers. I hope that my guests leave with the same spirit of giving back to others. I believe this is a small step to contribute to understanding and peace.
