Hello there, currently on my first couch serving trip in Taiwan but living in Düsseldorf, Germany. I spent some time abroad for my studies in Vietnam and Korea. I also travel quite a bit through Germany and neighbouring countries - if possible by train. I was born and raised in a very small town in the countryside and enjoy spending time outdoors in nature. At the same time, I always take advantage of being in the city and go to events, museums or simply good restaurants. I love commuting by train and reading a good book. If I don't have a good book, I try my hand at knitting a jumper. When I meet up with friends, I like to try new sports such as squash or roller skating, but I also enjoy going to pub quizzes or comedy nights – often we just have a coffee or go for a walk and enjoy an ice cream.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I want to travel to Taiwan this October/November. I mostly try to travel for a longer time to really get to know a country and its people. Couchsurfing feels like the best way to get to know people, have a good time together and at the same time feel like a local in a foreign country in a short period of time.
Music, Movies, and Books
In the last months I was mostly captured by the book "The Mountains Sing" which takes part in Vietnam and covers the life of a family over a few decades. So I kinda got stuck with books covering stories from the last century. My music taste is partly very general with radio music, pop and rock music but I also enjoy some kpop. I'm not sure if there have been any good movies over the last months, I don't really go to the cinema but a fun romance movie to relax always works.
