ABOUT ME

I'm a Medical student at Southern Danish University in Odense, Denmark, and I love traveling. Meeting and understanding other people and their backgrounds is something I really enjoy.

Besides my studies I do a bunch of research work, and have in that connection spent 5 months living in Tanzania, running a research project on maternal mental health. Ask me, and I'll happily tell you all about it.

Traveling as a student can be an financially challenging, but it doesn't have to be, with couch surfing. Besides, this way I get to meet awesome new people.

兴趣

I obviously am interested in doctory stuff. But I also do theatre and play music and do volunteer work in an international youth peace organisation called CISV.
And I'm teaching myself to knit. So there's that too :)

I love His dark material, Harry potter, Lord of the rings, anything written by Haruki Murakami, The Discworld series, the Secret garden, all the Chuck Palahniuk books I've read....

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think amazing moment number one would have to be sitting between the rock-piles on the cloud covered Annapurna base camp, after trekking up there on my own. And the clouds breaking, revealing the beautiful mountains surrounding it.
Another would surely be traveling with CISV, which has allowed me to intermingle with and learn from different cultures on numerous occasions. It makes for amazing friendships, when you all get together with open minds and hearts.
