Hey! I'm Christoph.

I'm a pretty easy-going guy that tries to see the world and everything in between. I love meeting new folk and hearing stories from all over the world. I mean, that's the reason to travel, isn't it? The amazing places are of course a nice side effect.

When I'm not traveling, I'm writing - well, even when I'm traveling, I'm writing. Would love to do that for a living in the near future.

I love movies more than I love myself.
Recent favorites include: Lost in Translation, Call Me by Your Name, In Bruges, I Kill Giants, Before Sunrise, La Grande Bellezza, Victoria, The Handmaiden, Thelma, Blue Is the Warmest Colour, Your Name and everything Ghibli

If I don't talk about movies, I will babble about books. Or writing in general (trying to finish my first novel at the moment).
My two favorite authors are Murakami and Hesse, the favorite book of the last year probably The Alchemist by Coelho. Despite that, my favorite genres are Fantasy and Sci-Fi. Hit me up with some recommendations.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I will pick three things:

1. Walking 800km through Spain on the Camino Frances in 2015. Words cannot describe how fantastic this journey was.

2. Hitchhiking from Western Germany all the way to Budapest, seeing Prague, Vienna, Bratislava and more on the trip.

3. Hiking over 40 km in one day. Up and down, straight through the Scottish Highlands. With a full 15 kilo backpack on my back. Just because I wanted to save ten euros for accommodation halfway through... This counts as both, amazing and pretty damn stupid.
